This show was absolutely amazing and now has the
title of the best show I have ever seen! I cannot begin
to describe to you the beauty of Valjean's voice! The
performer was incredible, hearing him sing live made
Colm Wilkenson's recorded performance pale. The
set was incredible, the design innovative and creative.
I was disappointed in the characters Eponine and
Fantine. Fantine played her character a little off, I don't
think she knew exactly who she was playing. Eponine was
a little too, as the Cincinnati Enquirer put it, "American Idol."
Javert was weird when he was singing his "dialogue" because
he tried to change the timing, but those small little
complaints are so minor and just me being a bit picky. This
show was amazing! The best I have ever seen. If you can,
find a city nearby and SEE THIS CAST.

Where to begin? A return home to the good ole
alma matre for a show with a male lead when the
the shcool is an all girls school.... right. Needless to
say I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully my
fears were quickly eliviated. The performance was
quite good!! The SET WAS AWESOME. They
must have purchased some backdrops like we did in
Oliver for it, but it was amazing. The drawbacks??
1) Male Lead, who while good... was male
2) Sorry Erica, Mandy, Katie, & Moe... but the
sound system is sadly WORSE!!!
3) It was another STUPID sing along type
of show like in Sound of Music.
4) The singing was all about an octave too
high, it was attack of the Raine again!
